Welcome to Maria’s Play Room
— a calm, intentional space where childhood is honored and curiosity leads the way.
This is not a traditional school. It’s a club for families who value presence, independence, and meaningful play. Inspired by Montessori principles and guided by a deep respect for each child’s natural rhythm, our space is thoughtfully prepared to nurture focus, creativity, and confidence.
Here, children are not rushed. They are trusted.
Parents are not separated. They are invited to observe, connect, and belong.
Every shelf, every material, and every corner is designed with purpose — to cultivate independence, encourage exploration, and build quiet self-assurance. We believe childhood is not a race. It is a season to be protected and celebrated.

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled Play Cycle. This allows your child time to transition calmly and begin exploring at their own pace.

Maria’s Play Room is a parent-accompanied environment. Your presence provides security and confidence as your child explores independently within the prepared space.

Comfortable clothing is recommended for both children and adults, as movement and floor play are part of the experience.

Shoes will be left in the mudroom area upon entry. Personal belongings may be placed in designated spaces to keep the Play Room calm and uncluttered.

Children are free to choose activities that interest them. We encourage parents to observe, follow their child’s lead, and allow moments of independent discovery whenever possible.

Every child adjusts differently. Some explore immediately, while others take time to observe. Both are perfectly normal. There is no rush here.

Here, every child becomes one of Maria’s Little Ones — warmly welcomed into a small community where childhood is honored, guided, and allowed to unfold gently.
